About us
Gazathon
A competition aimed at finding solutions to issues facing the Gaza strip in three fields (Health, Water Management and Treatment, and Shelter and Damage Assessment). The competition involves multiple teams and judges and is conducted in collaboration with various institutions. Its goal is to harness the efforts of young people to support Palestinians and express Jordan’s supportive stance.
Quds Club

Our slogan is “Until We Tread Its Soil” and our vision is to extend the Hashemite custodianship within the university by doing everything possible to support the Palestinian presence on their land. Our mission is to cultivate a generation of youth who are aware of their cause, understand their role, and actively contribute to the preservation of Jerusalem.

Health
Health
Since the beginning of October 7th until now, approximately 38,000 people have been martyred and over 87,000 injured, with many more victims trapped under the rubble. Due to the destruction of ambulances by Israeli forces, the deceased and injured are being transported on makeshift carts or carried on shoulders. Amid the ongoing massacres, targeting of civilians, and shortage of essential medical supplies, the healthcare system in Gaza has collapsed. All hospitals, along with 53 health centers, are out of service and cannot provide treatment.
Water Management and Treatment
Water Management and Treatment
Gaza is experiencing a severe water shortage due to the destruction of its water infrastructure, with approximately 80% of wells in Gaza having been destroyed. This shortage has serious humanitarian and health implications, as residents rely on unsafe sources to meet their daily water needs. This increases the risk of infectious diseases and health issues associated with the lack of clean water.
Sheltering and Damage Assessment
Sheltering and Damage Assessment
Due to the continuous bombing of the Gaza Strip, the Israeli forces have managed to completely destroy approximately 150,000 housing units and partially damage 200,000 more. This destruction extends to direct attacks on camps, hospitals, mosques, churches, schools, and UNRWA shelters. Most affected individuals are now residing in camps. The estimated recovery time for Gaza from this unprecedented destruction is about 80 years, with a cost of $40 billion.
